Introductory Handgun Course Outline:
1. Pistol/Revolver Knowledge and Safe Gun Handling.
2. Ammunition Knowledge and the Fundamentals of Shooting.
3. Range Safety and Firing Exercises.
4. Handgun Cleaning and Safe Storage.
This 4-1/2 hour class is offered several times each month. The class is held on selected Saturday evenings from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm or selected Sunday afternoons from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm. We occasionally offer classes Thursday or Friday evenings from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm. The fee for this course is $75.00 per student. Payment in full is required for reservations, and it is non-refundable unless 48 hours notice is given to cancel or reschedule. The class fee includes range time, eye and ear protection, and targets. Handgun rentals are available for $7.50 each plus ammo. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and a shirt or jacket that buttons to the neck.

Nine-hour NRA Pistol Course Outline:
1. Pistol/Revolver Knowledge and Safe Gun Handling
2. Ammunition Knowledge and the Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting
3. Range Safety and Firing exercises
4. Two-Handed and One-Handed Shooting Positions
5. Pistol Sports and Activities
6. Handgun Cleaning and Safe Storage
This course, when offered, takes place over a three day period. The first class is the Introductory Handgun Course. The second and third classes are scheduled at the convenience of the student and instructor.
The fee for this course is $225.00. If you have taken the Introductory Handgun Course, you are exempt from the Saturday class. Your cost would then be $150.00.
An NRA Certificate is issued to those who complete this course.
All classes are instructed by a certified NRA instructor.
